Network and Security Engineer

A leading logistics and transport company with national and international presence is seeking a passionate Network & Security Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a highly modern and secure infrastructure within a dynamic and agile environment.

The Role

  • Plan, implement, and operate the company-wide network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN).
  • Configure, operate, and further develop the firewall landscape.
  • Ensure the stability, scalability, and availability of the network infrastructure.
  • Analyze and resolve network disturbances (2nd-/3rd-level support).
  • Collaborate closely with System and Security Engineers to ensure an integrated overall architecture.
  • Maintain and develop network documentation, standards, and operating concepts.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience as a Network Engineer.
  • Proven, in-depth knowledge and experience in Firewall, Routing, Switching, VLAN, VPN, DNS, and Certificate Handling.
  • Solid understanding of networks and system security, with strong knowledge of relevant protocols (including OSPF, BGP).
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex issues to non-IT professionals.
  • Strong ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
