Senior Network Engineer

We are Hiring: Senior Network Engineer (Setúbal - Hybrid)

Are you an expert in architecting and governing global network infrastructures? We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to lead technical design and delivery for large-scale enterprise environments, ensuring seamless connectivity across global sites.

This is a key role for a Subject Matter Expert who excels at designing robust network solutions and providing technical oversight for complex, multi-region integrations.

The Challenge

You will be responsible for the design, governance, and lifecycle management of enterprise LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN architectures. Your goal is to ensure that global connectivity is not only high-performing but also fully aligned with security standards and business innovation needs (including IoT and OT environments).

What you will do:

• Design & Governance: Develop standard network designs, templates, and BoMs for global LAN, WAN, and Wireless architectures.
• SD-WAN Leadership: Act as the SME for global connectivity services, leading circuit upgrades, site activations, and vendor coordination.
• Technical Oversight: Design segmented network environments (IoT, OT, Labs) and validate vendor implementation plans and cutover strategies.
• Cloud Integration: Drive network integration within AWS and Azure, managing VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, Transit Gateways, and SASE NGFW integrations.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with PMOs, Regional IT, and InfoSec teams to ensure successful project delivery and compliance with audit standards.

Profile Requirements:

• Experience: ~10+ years in enterprise network engineering or design, with a proven track record in large, global, multi-region environments.
• Technical Expertise: * Deep knowledge of LAN/Switching, SD-WAN, and Wireless (Industrial/Manufacturing).
• Proficiency in Datacenter LAN (VXLAN EVPN) and advanced BGP routing.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 LTM, and packet analysis (Wireshark/NetFlow).
• Cloud Mastery: Strong skills in Azure (VNET, ExpressRoute) and AWS (Transit Gateway, Direct Connect).
• Communication: Ability to produce executive-ready technical documentation and provide clear technical leadership to cross-functional teams.
