AI Frontend Developer

As a preferred supplier to one of our biggest Banking clients, I am seeking a AI front end developer for our banking client in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

36- 40 hours

2 - 3 year project

Hybrid (1 day per week onsite)

The project:

The team develops custom applications (case management systems) for internal clients, including Compliance, SIM, and Operations. These applications are fully developed and maintained by the team and run entirely in the Azure cloud.

Must haves:

Front-End Development

• Strong experience with Vue 3 (knowledge of other JavaScript frameworks is a plus)
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (TypeScript is a plus)

Testing & Quality

• Experience with unit and end-to-end testing (e.g. Vitest, Playwright)
• Applies design patterns and best practices to ensure maintainable and scalable code

Tooling & Delivery

• Version control using Git (Azure Repos)
• CI/CD pipelines and release workflows using Azure DevOps

Ways of Working

• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Agile)
• Contributes to efficient development processes and continuous delivery

Design & Collaboration

• Comfortable working with design systems and tools (e.g. Figma)
• Able to translate designs into pixel-accurate, accessible, and responsive implementations

AI-Assisted Development (nice to have)

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot in VS Code / IDEs)
• Able to establish and maintain structured AI context (e.g. repository-level instructions, prompts, and reusable skills)
• Understands how to separate concerns between:
• instructions (boundaries and standards)
• prompts (task-specific guidance)
• skills (deeper implementation patterns)

Soft Skills:

Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborative and communicative across teams
• Clear reasoning and trade-off communication (explains the “why”)
• Encourages healthy debate, influences without pushing, and invites counter-arguments

Ownership & Impact

• Proactive, positive mindset with strong ownership
• Pragmatic in prioritisation (balances quality and delivery)
