Executive and Communications Assistant

Dublin City Centre - Hybrid (3 days onsite) - Permanent Position


This is a high-impact opportunity to join a global leader as a Strategic Executive & Communications Assistant. Supporting at the C-Suite level, you will go beyond traditional administrative support to act as a critical connection between leadership and the wider global business. This role is designed for a technically-adept professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will support the head of the company and their deputy with a regular diary management and some travel, requiring a candidate who can "take the wheel" of daily operations while leveraging modern tools such as AI-or SharePoint to enhance executive efficiency and internal messaging. You will gain unparalleled exposure to the inner workings of a global professional firm.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level partnership to the Head and Deputy, balancing diary management with the foresight to prioritise objectives and pre-empt.
  • Lead the development of high-stakes presentation materials for Board and leadership meetings. This includes high-level PowerPoint design, data visualisation and ensuring all communications align with global brand standards.
  • Act as the internal lead for SharePoint architecture for the leadership team - ensuring seamless document management, collaborative workflows and information security.
  • Champion the use of AI tools and emerging technologies to automate routine tasks, summarize complex data and streamline executive reporting.
  • Serve as a sophisticated first point of contact for external partners, global clients and internal departments, ensuring the executive’s voice is represented professionally across all channels.
  • Manage travel logistics, expense reporting and event coordination.
  • Collaborate with global administrative teams to audit and improve existing procedures, introducing digital efficiencies where possible.
  • Provide senior-level coverage during peak workloads and holidays, maintaining continuity across the leadership suite.


Experience/Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in Executive Assistant position, with extensive experience in a global company
  • High-level technical proficiency in MS Office, specifically as a power user of PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Proven ability to use emerging technologies to enhance executive productivity.
  • Numerical confidence and the ability to work with and visualise large amounts of data.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a talent for high-level professional communication.
  • Proactive, independent, and reliable while demonstrating sound judgment and discretion with confidential information.
  • Fluent in English and comfortable communicating with top management and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to unexpected situations in a fast-paced environment.


Remuneration Package

Salary Dependent on Experience circa €60,000-€70,000

+ full extensive benefits package including a pension plan, medical insurance, bonus and much more.
