Position: React UI Developer

Location: Toronto ON

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Build reusable, efficient, and visually appealing UI components aligned with design specifications and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to translate complex requirements into intuitive user interfaces.
• Utilize modern web tooling (Babel, SWC, Vite, pnpm, Lerna, Nx) to optimize development workflows and application performance.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and backend services ensuring seamless data flow.
• Implement responsive and cross-browser compatible designs using HTML5, CSS, and modern styling techniques.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and usability, resolving bottlenecks and improving load times.
• Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using frameworks like Jest, Vitest, and Playwright to ensure application reliability.
• Leverage Chrome Developer Tools to debug, profile, and enhance frontend performance.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms, including JWT-based authentication flows.
• Work with version control systems using Git and Git Flow, ensuring code quality through reviews and best practices.
• Contribute to and maintain high-quality code standards, documentation, and reusable component libraries; experience with ag-grid or Highcharts is preferred.
• Collaborate effectively in a multi-cultural, distributed team environment, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and proactive communication.
