For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:

Backend Developer (AI integration)

Location: 100% remote

Rate: 120-150zł/h

Type of contract: B2B via Hays Poland

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with exposure to AI/LLM integrations to help build scalable, secure, and high-performing services powering next-generation applications on Azure.

This role sits at the intersection of backend engineering and generative AI, focusing on integrating LLM capabilities into real production systems.

What You’ll Do:

Build and maintain backend services in Python (FastAPI)

Design and develop APIs (REST / GraphQL) for frontend and internal systems

Integrate LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) into backend workflows

Design and optimize relational databases (SQL) and data models

Collaborate with DevOps/MLOps to deploy and scale services in Azure

Monitor performance, debug issues, and improve system reliability and cost efficiency

Requirement:

2–4 years of experience in backend development (Python)

Hands-on experience with API design and development

Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases

Experience working with Docker and CI/CD pipelines

Exposure to LLMs / AI integrations or strong interest in this area

Ability to work independently and take ownership of backend tasks

Nice to have:

Experience with GraphQL (e.g., Strawberry)

Familiarity with RAG, vector databases, or LangChain-like frameworks

Experience working with Azure cloud services

Interest in optimizing LLM performance, latency, and cost
