Build and DevOps Engineer

The role:

We are seeking a skilled Build and DevOps Engineer responsible for managing diagnostics, software build environments, and CI/CD pipelines. The role focuses on supporting development teams through debugging, automation, and ensuring smooth integration and deployment of software components in automotive or embedded environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnostics & Debugging

• Perform diagnostic activities for assigned systems

• Use Lauterbach debugger for low-level debugging

• Support teams in debugging software component issues

Build & Integration Management

• Troubleshoot build failures and environment issues

• Maintain and optimize build environments

• Update Simulink environments based on signal database changes

CI/CD & Automation

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines

• Develop automation workflows for build and deployment

• Work with tools like Jenkins and Git

Software Development & Tools

• Develop scripts using Python and CAPL

• Work with MATLAB and Simulink

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Work with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS

• Support scalable DevOps infrastructure

Key Deliverables

• Stable CI/CD pipelines

• Reliable build systems

• Resolution of integration and debugging issues

• Updated Simulink environments and signal databases

Required Skills & Expertise

• Experience in DevOps and build engineering

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git)

• Programming knowledge in Python and CAPL

• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink

• Debugging skills using tools like Lauterbach

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automotive or embedded systems

• Exposure to Azure/AWS

• Knowledge of signal databases and debugging

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science or related field
