Senior Full Stack Engineer

Senior Fullstack Engineer (Backend Focus) | Short-term project

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer with strong backend expertise to join on a temporary assignment until the end of the year. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building scalable backend systems in modern cloud-native environments while still being comfortable collaborating across the full stack when needed.

You will join a domain focused on deals and recycling initiatives, developing event-driven solutions that support high-impact and sustainability-oriented use cases. The environment is mature, technical, and collaborative, with significant ownership and influence over architecture and implementation decisions.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js
• Develop event-driven applications using AWS serverless technologies
• Work extensively with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS, and SQS
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK
• Write clean, maintainable, and production-grade TypeScript
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical improvements
• Collaborate with existing engineering teams to deliver value quickly
• Support reliable deployments and distributed system performance
  
  

• Senior-level experience in backend or fullstack engineering
• Strong backend development background within distributed systems
• Proven experience with AWS serverless architectures
• Hands-on experience with Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS, and SQS
• Strong TypeScript development experience
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably AWS CDK
