For an innovative organization active within the insurance and financial services sector, we are looking for a Data Analyst. In this position, you will play a key role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making across the business.

You will work in a data-driven environment where analytics, reporting, and continuous improvement are central. The role combines technical expertise with strong stakeholder interaction and offers the opportunity to contribute to both business performance and process optimization.

Your Responsibilities



Data Management & Preparation

  • Collect and consolidate data from multiple internal and external sources
  • Clean, validate, and structure datasets to ensure data quality and consistency
  • Support the maintenance and optimization of reporting datasets and analytical environments

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities
  • Perform statistical and exploratory data analyses
  • Translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations
  • Support business teams with ad hoc analyses and reporting requests

Reporting & Visualization

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using modern BI tools
  • Present data in a clear and business-friendly way for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Monitor KPIs and business performance metrics

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with business, operational, and IT teams to understand reporting and analytical needs
  • Support decision-making through data-driven recommendations
  • Participate in initiatives focused on process improvement and data quality enhancement

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay informed about new technologies, tools, and best practices in analytics and BI
  • Contribute to the evolution of the organization's data capabilities and reporting standards
  • Share knowledge and collaborate within the broader data community

Your Profile

  • Experience in Data Analysis, Reporting, BI, or a similar analytical role
  • Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data
  • Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
  • Familiarity with Python or R is considered a strong asset
  • Understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Able to communicate complex insights in a clear and structured way
  • Autonomous, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar
  • Professional level of English and fluent in either Dutch or French
