Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Melbourne Area for a Cyber Security Specialist. The responsibilities include implementing and monitoring cyber security SIEM products, evaluating vulnerabilities, managing application and network security measures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The specialist will work closely with clients to design and enforce security protocols that protect sensitive information from cyber threats.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Cybersecurity, including threat assessment, incident response, and risk management.
• Proficiency in Network Security, including managing firewalls, intrusion detection, and secure configurations for networks.
• Experience with Australian Government Information Security practices, including developing and managing data protection standards and policies.
• General understanding of Cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and preventive methods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Sentinel and best practices to protect software systems and applications.
• Experience with PKI design and delivery, including certificate authority hierachy and certificate lifecycle automation
• Experience with ICAM design and delivery, including LDAP, SSO, role based and attribute access control
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or equivalent are an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
