Senior Frontend Developer

We are hiring for Senior Front-End Designer and Developer - APS6 Level for our Federal Government client.

Contract Duration – 12 months + 24 months extensions

Work Location -Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney(Hybrid)

Security Clearance - Baseline

Essential Criteria

• At least 2 years of commercial experience as a front-end developer in the Commonwealth of Australia (or equivalent similar sized organisation)
• Front end development expertise and code quality:
• Demonstrated experience delivering production quality front end solutions using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML and SCSS, with a strong focus on reusable, maintainable and performant code. Evidence of applying sound software design principles and technical judgement to deliver scalable solutions.
• Demonstrated experience building accessible, usable and responsive web applications, including compliance with latest WCAG standards. Evidence of identifying, resolving and preventing accessibility or usability issues through testing, remediation and continuous improvement.
• Translating UX designs into user centred solutions
