Software Engineer

Goliath has been retained by a finance firm in NYC targeting a Founding Engineer on a hybrid basis.

Role:

• Build and evolve systems for valuation, order execution, and post-trade tracking.
• Develop pricing models using market data, liquidity, and historical performance.
• Create monitoring, dashboards, and internal tools for system health.
• Implement safeguards for data quality and execution risks.

Ideal background:

• Strong backend/infrastructure experience (Python or Go),
• Building production systems in high-stakes environments (trading, fintech, marketplaces, etc.)
• Experience with data pipelines and real-world data.
