Operations Officer II

Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private clients, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
 
Introduction:
Prime Hires is seeking a skilled Operations Officer II to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.

Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: $26 per hour
Location: Markham, ON
Location Type: Hybrid
Business Hours: Monday-Friday; 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
 
Job Responsibilities:

• Complete accurate onboarding of WBB applications onto the mainframe and billing systems within the established Service Level Agreement.
• Respond to all email requests from the business partners in a timely manner.
• Ensure that negotiated fees are input properly into the billing system and that all steps are followed when processing monthly billing.
• Create a positive customer experience at every interaction and look for ways to contribute to the ongoing improvement of the customer experience.
• Maintain and process all ADHOC billing spreadsheets and ensure all rejected items are reprocessed.
• Completes standard transactions using a limited number of systems and/or applications.
• Identifies issues and escalates internally; typically addressing routine requests requiring minimal discretion.

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

• High school diploma, Post-Secondary Education certifications required.
• 1-2 years of Banking experience.
• Fast-paced, multitasking, work well under pressure.
• 1 year experience in understanding of AML Compliance.
• Basic understanding MS Suites Excel.
• Typing speed min 60-65 wpm.
• 1 year of admin work/ previous Ops officer work.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent working knowledge of various software packages including MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook.
• Knowledge of Host applications and C3 considered an asset.
• Demonstrated problem solving and time management skills.
