We are currently hiring an experienced EUC / Desktop Support Engineer (L1) for an onsite enterprise support role in Sandnes. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong hands-on experience in desktop support, end-user computing, deskside troubleshooting, and enterprise IT support environments.
The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering onsite technical support, managing IT incidents and service requests, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations for end users in a corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite desktop and deskside support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Perform IMAC activities (Install, Move, Add, and Change) along with break/fix support
- Manage device lifecycle activities including imaging, deployment, configuration, patching, and upgrades
- Support Windows 10/11 environments and basic macOS troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, VPN, printers, scanners, and peripheral devices
- Work with SCCM, Microsoft Intune, and ServiceNow for device management, ticket handling, and asset tracking
- Handle Active Directory tasks including user account management and password resets
- Provide VIP and executive support with timely issue resolution
- Ensure endpoint security compliance, antivirus monitoring, and patch management
- Follow ITIL processes including incident management, service requests, and problem management
- Coordinate with internal IT teams and vendors for escalations and issue resolution
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in Desktop Support, Deskside Support, EUC Support, or IT Support roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 administration and troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of macOS support
- Experience working with SCCM, Microsoft Intune, and ServiceNow
- Knowledge of Active Directory, user administration, and basic networking concepts
- Experience supporting enterprise or corporate IT environments
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and end-user support skills
- Ability to work independently in an onsite support environment
