Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineering Manager / Senior Technical Lead with strong expertise in public cloud technologies, preferably AWS. The ideal candidate should have experience leading cloud engineering teams, driving cloud-native transformation initiatives, and building scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise platforms.

This role requires close collaboration with application development, platform engineering, and business teams to support cloud adoption, migration, and modernization initiatives within a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of cloud engineers, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Design, develop, and maintain reusable cloud solutions and architecture patterns.
• Work closely with application development teams to support migration of existing applications and development of cloud-native solutions.
• Drive adoption of public cloud platforms such as AWS and support hybrid cloud environments.
• Improve and streamline cloud onboarding experiences for development teams.
• Define and prioritize platform and product feature enhancements aligned with business goals.
• Ensure all cloud solutions follow security best practices and enterprise compliance standards.
• Implement highly available, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define product roadmap and strategic direction.
• Track and report migration progress, technical challenges, and key achievements to leadership teams.
• Participate in governance and compliance activities to ensure production deployments meet enterprise and regulatory standards.
• Gather feedback from internal stakeholders and customers to enhance cloud platform capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong expertise in cloud engineering and platform solutions.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services is mandatory.
• Strong experience in cloud-native architecture, platform engineering, and DevOps practices.
• Experience leading engineering teams as an Engineering Manager, Technical Lead, or similar leadership role.
• Strong understanding of:
• Microservices architecture
• Containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Scalable and highly available system design
• Experience working with hybrid cloud and on-premises integrations.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, governance, and compliance best practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
• Exposure to cloud migration and modernization programs.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
