What You’ll Do

• Lead the development of Slayz’s iOS application with a strong focus on performance, reliability, scalability, and user experience.

• Build, maintain, and optimize high-quality iOS features for investing, onboarding, account flows, market data, portfolio views, trading journeys, and user engagement.

• Own complex iOS development tasks from technical planning to release, including architecture decisions, implementation, testing, and production monitoring.

• Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, QA, compliance, and business teams to deliver secure and intuitive mobile experiences.

• Translate Figma designs, product requirements, and business needs into clean, maintainable, and production-ready iOS code.

• Improve application architecture, code quality, modularity, state management, and development standards across the iOS codebase.

• Review pull requests, mentor junior developers, and help raise engineering quality across the mobile team.

• Work on API integrations, real-time data flows, authentication, secure session handling, push notifications, analytics, and app performance optimization.

• Support App Store release processes, crash monitoring, bug fixing, version planning, and continuous improvement of the iOS user experience.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of professional iOS development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, async/await, and modern iOS development practices.

• Solid understanding of iOS architecture patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture, or similar scalable structures.

• Experienced in building and maintaining production-level mobile applications with strong attention to stability, security, and performance.

• Comfortable working with REST APIs, WebSocket connections, JSON structures, authentication flows, and secure data handling.

• Strong knowledge of App Store release processes, provisioning, certificates, TestFlight, and production deployment workflows.

• Able to independently lead technical decisions, estimate development effort, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality work in fast execution cycles.

• Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills using Xcode Instruments, crash reporting tools, and analytics platforms.

• Clear communicator who can collaborate effectively with product, design, backend, QA, and management teams.

Bonus Points

• Experience building FinTech, brokerage, banking, trading, investing, or financial services applications.

• Knowledge of capital markets products such as equities, investment funds, US stocks, portfolio tracking, order flows, and market data.

• Experience with real-time financial data, trading interfaces, secure onboarding, KYC flows, or regulated financial products.

• Familiarity with Firebase, Appsflyer, Customer.io, Sentry, Datadog, or similar mobile analytics and monitoring tools.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, modular architecture, feature flags, and scalable release management.

• Previous experience mentoring developers or leading a small mobile engineering team.

• Strong product sense and ability to improve user experience beyond pure implementation.
