Python Engineer | Risk Platform

Our client, an absolute leader in the capital markets sector, is expanding their Risk Technology team and looking for an experienced Python Engineer to help build their next generation risk analytics platform used daily by Risk Managers, Portfolio Managers, and senior leadership.

Location: Warsaw (Śródmieście), hybrid mode (3 days a week in the office)

Contract: employment contract

Your duties will include:

• liaising with stakeholders and conducting needs' analysis
• designing and developing services in Python
• building and scaling cloud-native, distributed systems for risk & market data processing
• improving reliability, performance, and maintainability of a critical platform

Your skills & experience:

• min. 4 years of experience in software development
• strong experience in server-side Python and object-oriented programming
• proven background in distributed systems: scalability, concurrency, performance tuning
• very good English (B2/C1)
• experience in financial services or capital markets nice to have
