Frontend Software Developer

We are looking for a Frontend Software Developer to join a newly formed digital product team at our headquarters in Gothenburg.

In this role, you will collaborate with data scientists, clinicians, and product teams to turn insights into real‑world impact, faster and smarter. If you are passionate about improve the quality of life, not only for patients, but also for those who care for them, using responsible AI, and using cutting‑edge technologies to advance global health, keep on reading.

Our aim is to establish a full new team of 10 dedicated colleagues, all committed to build a strong team and deliver the extraordinary in our aim to innovate and build the next generation digital health solutions. We believe we do this in close day-to-day collaboration in the headquarters of Mölnlycke, situated in GoCo, Mölndal/Gothenburg.

Where you’ll make a difference

This role is part of building Mölnlycke’s future digital capabilities from the ground up. You’ll work on customer-facing digital products where much is still emerging - meaning your ideas, technical judgement, and initiative will help shape what we build, not just how we build it.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

• Design, develop, and evolve modern, responsive, and accessible web applications for healthcare users
• Take ownership of frontend solutions, from early ideation and prototyping through to production
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, backend and platform developers, and product stakeholders
• Contribute to defining frontend architecture, frameworks, and best practices in a growing product organization
• Help establish strong in-house frontend capabilities as we transition from consultant-based delivery
• Experiment, iterate, and co-create in an environment where innovation and learning are encouraged
• Participate in onsite collaboration and product team rituals (approximately 3 days per week in Gothenburg)

What You Bring

Must-haves

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development
• Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular preferred; React or Vue welcomed)
• Solid understanding of modern web application development, including responsive and accessible design
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and contribute with a senior mindset
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional product teams
• Confident presenter with excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, able to align technical solutions with business and user needs.
  
  

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Angular and TypeScript in larger-scale applications
• Exposure to mobile or hybrid app development
• Experience from regulated environments such as healthcare or medtech
• Interest in AI-enabled user experiences and evolving frontend practices
