Senior Java Software Engineer

You will contribute to the development of a new application for Middle Office teams to manage client trade limits and exposure, working closely with teams based in Paris and Porto. This is a challenging project with high expectations regarding delivery quality, ownership, and autonomy.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Spring Boot and Java

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

• Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve performance and reliability

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews

• Provide regular updates on task progress, challenges, and timelines to ensure transparency with stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum of 5/6 years of development experience with Java/Spring Boot, preferably in the financial services sector

• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, adaptability, and time management skills

• Ability to work effectively in a remote and international team environment

• Knowledge of TypeScript and React is a plus

• English proficiency at C1 level
