Frontend Developer

An opportunity for an experience Frontend Developer for a leading financial institution in Amsterdam. The team develops and maintains custom case management applications for internal clients. These applications are fully built in-house and run entirely in the Azure cloud.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality front-end solutions using Vue 3
• Translate designs into pixel-accurate, accessible, and responsive implementations
• Participate in refinement sessions, user story discussions, Scrum events, and team planning
• Contribute to unit and end-to-end testing using tools such as Vitest and Playwright
• Work with Git, Azure Repos, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release workflows
• Apply design patterns and best practices to create maintainable and scalable code
• Provide constructive feedback during code reviews and act as a technical sparring partner
• Identify recurring issues across pull requests and propose improvements
• Communicate clearly on technical decisions, trade-offs, and the reasoning behind solutions

Requirements

• Strong experience with Vue 3
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript
• Experience with TypeScript is a plus
• Experience with unit and end-to-end testing, preferably Vitest and Playwright
• Experience with Git, preferably Azure Repos
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release workflows
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Comfortable working with design systems and tools such as Figma
• Collaborative, proactive, communicative, and product/value-focused mindset
• Nice to have: experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, structured prompts, reusable skills, and shared AI development patterns
