Azure DevOps Engineer

Location - Hyderabad/Pune

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer who will also take on Site Reliability Engineering SRE responsibilities This role focuses on ensuring system reliability scalability and performance across cloud The ideal candidate will proactively identify and resolve production issues implement monitoring and alerting solutions and drive continuous improvement in deployment and operational processes

Key Responsibilities

  • Design implement and maintain CICD pipelines using Azure DevOps
  • Manage Azure cloud infrastructure and operations
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools ARM templates Azure Bicep
  • Implement and manage robust monitoring alerting and logging systems for high availability and rapid incident response
  • Establish and maintain SLOs SLIs and SLAs for critical systems
  • Perform root cause analysis and post incident reviews to prevent recurrence of outages
  • Automate operational tasks using scripting languages PowerShell Bash Python
  • Collaborate with engineering QA and support teams to deliver resilient and scalable solutions
  • Maintain and improve disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Manage Azure DevOps projects repositories build configurations release pipelines and deployment environments
  • Monitor and optimize CICD pipelines for performance reliability and security
  • Participate in SCRUM ceremonies and retrospectives
  • Create and maintain documentation related to build processes and infrastructure

Required Skills /Experience

  • Strong experience with Azure Cloud IaaS PaaS SaaS
  • Strong experience in Azure Bicep Automation
  • Expertise in Azure DevOps concepts CICD Build Release Management ARM templates Azure Bicep DevOps Security Principles
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
  • Knowledge of Azure infrastructure networking and Microsoft technologies
  • Experience with YAML pipelines OneBranch and 1ES pipelines
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools Azure Monitoring Application Insights Live Site Monitoring
  • Strong knowledge of SQL management and administration backup restoration
  • Understanding of incident management SLA management and ticketing tools eg SNOW ICM
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
