Role Overview

This role focuses on network operations, administration, maintenance, and technical support to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing IT network services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations & Administration

  • Manage and monitor network performance, capacity, and troubleshooting.
  • Handle bandwidth optimization, protocol usage, and system health checks.
  • Configure and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, IP services like DNS/DHCP).
  • Support network changes (installs, moves, additions, upgrades).
  • Coordinate with telecom providers and vendors.
  • Maintain assets, system documentation, and operational records.
  • Perform network optimization and provide status reporting.

2. Maintenance

  • Perform hardware/software diagnostics and repairs (“break-fix”).
  • Apply updates, patches, firmware, and security fixes.
  • Manage software distribution and version control.
  • Replace defective components and ensure preventive maintenance.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and communicate downtime.

3. Technical Support

  • Provide advanced technical support to:

Help Desk (Level 2)

End users and internal IT teams

External partners/vendors

  • Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex issues.

4. Monitoring & Reporting

  • Continuously monitor network health, performance, and security (24/7).
  • Manage incidents, faults, and escalations.
  • Conduct trend analysis, capacity planning, and performance reporting.
  • Provide reports and metrics to stakeholders.

5. Configuration & Change Management

  • Maintain network configurations, documentation, and security compliance.
  • Control and track system changes, firmware updates, and asset inventory.

6. Root-Cause Analysis

  • Investigate major incidents to identify root causes.
  • Produce reports, preventive measures, and continuous improvement plans.
  • Track issues until full resolution and prevent recurrence.

7. Documentation

  • Maintain detailed technical and operational documentation, including:
  • Network diagrams and configurations
  • Security plans and procedures
  • Disaster recovery plans
  • System logs, reports, and inventory records.


Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Studies or related discipline
  • 2 - 4 years of releveant experience in Network Operations & Administration, Maintenance, Technical Support and etc.
  • Key product technologies knowledge required:

L2 knowledge of the following:

Palo Alto firewalls

Checkpoint firewalls

Aruba Networking (switches, gateways, wireless Access Points, Clearpass)

Beyond Trust

Efficient IP

AWS (intermediate level), Azure (intermediate level)

  • Willing to station at coustomer's site in the North-East region.
  • Willing to work under a one-year Indirect Contract.
