Scrum Master - Payments upgrade - FREELANCE

Our client is upgrading their payments platform and is looking for an experienced Scrum Master to lead delivery on an initial 12-month engagement.

The role

You'll run an agile delivery team working on a major payments upgrade, partnering with engineering, QA, and business stakeholders. The environment is hands-on — alongside facilitating ceremonies, managing the backlog, and clearing blockers for the team, you'll be expected to get stuck into testing activities where needed.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years' experience in payments, with strong exposure to ISO 20022 and core rails including SWIFT, eBill, and LSV
• Comfortable operating in an agile setup — SAFe experience strongly preferred, Scrum also considered
• Willingness and ability to contribute directly to testing
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset — able to identify issues and improvement opportunities and drive them to resolution
• BE certification would be an advantage
