🔎We are looking for a Python Developer

MAIN TASKS:

• Develop and maintain robust Python code to support the calculation and delivery of financial indices using the Dataiku platform
• Design, optimize, and scale data processing pipelines to ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Assess technical feasibility and complexity of use cases, proposing sound and scalable technical solutions
• Perform peer code reviews, enforcing best practices, coding standards, and overall code quality
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and drive use cases forward
• Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation, including code comments and solution design
• Monitor applications running in production, proactively identifying and implementing performance and reliability improvements
• Contribute to the development and delivery of new index families within defined timelines

YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:

• Strong expertise in Python development, with a focus on clean, maintainable, and production‑ready code
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable data processing workflows
• Hands‑on experience with data platforms and analytics environments (Dataiku or similar tools is a strong plus)
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, and documentation
• Ability to work with complex data sets and performance‑critical processing pipelines
• Experience collaborating with business teams and translating functional needs into technical solutions
• Comfortable working in production environments, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously in a senior role
• Professional English level
• Hybrid regime: (3/4 days at the Porto office)
