Full-Stack Software Developer (Mid-Level)

We're building the platform behind a global on-demand skincare brand - helping entrepreneurs across Europe and the US launch, manufacture, and fulfill their own product lines. We’re a small, senior team and we’re scaling fast. Our web platform needs to keep pace, and so does our team.

We’re not looking for a feature-finisher. We’re looking for a developer who builds with curiosity, ships with care, and is genuinely excited about what AI agents can do for a product like ours.

At Selfnamed we call this a Fullstack Developer - someone who can take a feature from backend API to Vue.js UI, understands why performance matters in a real production system, and sees AI agent automation not as a buzzword but as a lever they want to learn to pull.

How we work

• Engineers own features end-to-end - backend, frontend, and the wiring between them
• Major decisions start with a short written proposal before any code is written
• We prototype early, demo weekly, and course-correct fast
• Everyone on the team uses AI coding tools daily - Claude Code, GitHub Copilot - and we’re actively building internal AI agents and automations on top of them
• Hybrid: 3 days on-site in Mārupe, 2 remote

You don’t need to know all of this on day one. You do need to want to learn it.

Backend: 

• PHP 8.2 (Yii2 / Laravel), Node, Go, REST APIs
• PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis
• AWS Lambda, AWS SAM, S3
• Cloudflare Workers

Frontend: 

• Vue.js 3, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind CSS
• Server-side rendering (SSR), page performance optimization

Integrations: 

• Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace
• Webhooks, event-driven inventory & order sync

AI & Automation: 

• Claude Code (Teams), GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, Cursor
• AI agent skills and orchestration via Claude Agent SDK

Infra: 

• Docker, Nginx, GitHub Actions (CI/CD)
• AWS, Cloudflare, Hetzner (Linux)

What you’ll own

• Features end-to-end on our CMS platform - from API design and DB schema through to the Vue.js UI and SSR performance
• E-commerce integrations - Shopify App, WooCommerce, Wix - webhooks, inventory sync, order processing that runs reliably at scale
• Serverless workloads on AWS Lambda and Cloudflare Workers: image processing pipelines, mockup generation, print file automation
• Front-end experiences that convert: checkout flows, design studio, landing pages, guest user journeys
• AI-powered tooling built with Claude Code - you’ll be learning to design and wire up agent automations that solve real business problems, not toy demos
• Your own technical proposals - you identify the need, scope the solution, deliver it, and document it

What we’re looking for

• 2–4 years of backend development experience PHP, Node
• Comfortable with Vue.js / TypeScript - you can build and debug a UI component without being afraid of it
• Solid SQL fundamentals - JOINs, query optimization, schema design
• Familiarity with Docker and Git-based CI/CD
• You ship. You document. You ask when you’re stuck, but you don’t wait to be told what to do next
• Strong English - async communication is part of the job

Nice to have

• Hands-on with AI coding agents - Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot - or genuine curiosity about agent orchestration and automation
• Experience with e-commerce platform integrations (Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix)
• Exposure to serverless (AWS Lambda, Cloudflare Workers)
• Any experience writing RFCs, ADRs, or short design proposals before jumping into code
• Background in e-commerce, fulfillment, or print-on-demand systems

• A base salary starting 2000 EUR gross based on experience and previous track record
