Python Developer

Job Description

• Looking for rather senior dev (4-5 years)with actual enterprise experience (not small projects where they were the only developer)
• Should be proficient in one of main enterprise level web frameworks - i.e. Django, FastApi, Flask - cannot just work on analytics/ml/scripts or support programs but full scale applications
• Able to work with / understand database engines preferably using ORMs (object relational mappers) like SQLAlchemy
• Very good communication, attitude and level of ownership
• Ideally have experience with larger applications using microservices and containers

Additional skillset, good to have

• NoSQL database experience (MongoDB, etc.)
• Graph DB experience (TigerGraph, neo4j, etc.)
• Experience with typescript and UI frameworks (Angular, React, etc.)
• Data lineage domain experience.

Required

• Looking for Senior dev (7-8years) with actual enterprise experience (not small projects where they were the only developer)
• Strong Python programming skills; experience building and maintaining scalable applications.
• Hands on experience deploying and managing applications on OpenShift.
• Working knowledge of Apache Kafka, including producers/consumers and real time streaming pipelines. Proficiency in conducting code reviews and using Git based workflows.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Solid problem solving and analytical thinking.
• Attention to detail and commitment to code quality.
• Adaptable, proactive, and able to take ownership of deliverables.
• Experience with Starburst / Trino for distributed SQL query processing.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, data analysis, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Hitachi S3 for data storage and integration.
• Hands on experience with Redis for caching and high performance data operations.
• Working knowledge of JIRA for agile project tracking and workflow management.
