Game Tester | $20/hr Remote

Position: Gameplay Data Capture Specialist

Type: Contract

Compensation: $10 - $20/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

• Play a range of top-tier AAA games to systematically capture gameplay data using in-house tools.
• Record, organize, and annotate game sessions with keen attention to accuracy and detail.
• Collaborate closely with fellow experts and team leads, providing clear feedback and updates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to recording and data capture workflows.
• Ensure all data files are securely stored, cataloged, and transferred according to project guidelines.
• Maintain regular, timely communication in both written and verbal formats with the customer's remote team.

Requirements

• Have a proven passion and experience with AAA games, with access to the specific titles required for the project.
• Demonstrate strong gameplay proficiency and the ability to follow capture instructions precisely.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills that are clear, prompt, and detail-oriented.
• Have a well-equipped computer capable of running and recording high-end AAA games without performance issues.
• Have experience using gameplay recording or data capture tools, with industry or proprietary experience being a plus.
