DevOps Engineer

Position: DevOps Engineer

Location: Lisbon

Hybrid: 2 times a week at the client’s office

Mandatory Languages Required: English (minimun C1) French is a plus

Candidates must possess a valid work permit for Portugal

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to strengthen our CI/CD and security capabilities, with a strong focus on dependency risk, obsolescence, and SBOM-driven analysis.

What you’ll do

• Design and maintain industrial CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent).
• Integrate security controls and scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage dependencies, artifacts, and repositories (Artifactory or equivalent).
• Work hands-on with SBOMs (CycloneDX, SPDX), including analysis without direct access to application source code.
• Identify and mitigate library obsolescence and End‑of‑Life (EOL) risks.
• Use tools like JFrog Xray or similar for vulnerability and dependency analysis.
• Ensure CI/CD pipelines are secure, reliable, and scalable.

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience with CI/CD platforms and DevSecOps practices.
• Proven background in dependency management, SBOMs, and software supply chain security.
• Solid understanding of security principles and system administration.
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Autonomous, analytical, and collaborative mindset.

Nice to have

• Interest in automation, agent-based approaches, or GitHub Copilot.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Contributions to standards or development methodologies.
• Cloud or DevOps certifications.
