A client of ours, a well-established and globally recognised provider of satellite communication solutions, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and test embedded software for SoCs, evaluation boards, and custom hardware platforms
• Develop low-level drivers, middleware, and application-layer software to support proof-of-concepts and system prototypes
• Integrate third-party SDKs alongside internal modules, contributing to hardware/software co-design and debugging efforts
• Support rapid prototyping, testing, and validation of next-generation satellite communication technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to clear documentation of software architecture, integration processes, and best practices

Your Profile:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2–5+ years of experience in embedded software development using C/C++ (Python is a plus)
• Hands-on experience with RTOS, embedded Linux, SoCs, FPGAs, and board bring-up
• Solid understanding of device drivers, communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet, TCP/IP, 3GPP 5G/6G), and version control (Git)
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative mindset
• Fluent in English; basic German skills are a plus
