Talent Management Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities:


1. Strategic Talent Management

  • Manage and anchor core talent review processes such as People Potential Review (PPR) and succession planning.
  • Partner with business and HR leaders to translate business strategy into talent implications, capability needs, and leadership pipeline actions.
  • Support design and evolution of career frameworks and talent segmentation aligned to business priorities.
  • Synthesize talent data and discussions into clear insights, risks, and actions for leadership forums.


2. Building People Capability

  • Own end‑to‑end performance management processes, including:
  • Goal setting and alignment
  • Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
  • Year‑end performance appraisals
  • Ensure process rigor, timelines, governance, and quality of outputs
  • Track completion, effectiveness, and interdependencies across performance cycles.
  • Diagnose process issues and continuously improve experience, and impact.


3. Compensation & Benefits Support

  • Support mid‑year and year‑end rewards processes from C&B perspective, owning the data readiness, modeling and updates
  • Enable employee awareness and leadership readiness through clear documentation, data packs, and communication support.
  • Provide analytical inputs for reward decision‑making while ensuring process fairness and consistency.


4. Thought Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a problem‑solving partner to business and HR stakeholders—not just a process executor.
  • Bring a consulting lens to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Connect business priorities with people processes in a coherent, outcome‑oriented way.
  • Influence through clarity of thought, data, and structured communication.



Candidate Profile:


Education

  • Tier 1 / Tier 2 MBA (mandatory)


Experience

  • 4–5 years of total work experience
  • Mandatory stint in a reputed consulting firm (strategy / HR / management consulting)
  • Experience working on structured problem statements, stakeholder management, and data‑driven recommendations


Key Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills; comfortable working with data, trackers, and insights
  • Ability to balance hands‑on execution with strategic perspective
  • High comfort with process design, governance, and rigor
  • Strong written and verbal communication—able to engage credibly with senior stakeholders
  • Structured thinker with high attention to detail and follow‑through
