Systems Engineer

Our R&D Department is looking for a Systems Engineer! Are you a highly skilled Systems engineer with a background in Complex Systems, ready to take on cutting-edge, multidisciplinary projects in an international environment?

We are looking for a dynamic expert with a problem-solving mindset, who embraces iterative and agile approaches to tackle engineering challenges. In this role, you will: cooperate with diverse teams, manage large-scale, long-duration projects, and work closely with stakeholders across the globe to deliver innovative solutions.

What you'll be doing:

Working with a team of engineers in developing state-of-the-art robotic vehicles throughout the entire product life cycle, including:

• Creating the skeleton of the system: determining which system elements and technologies to utilize, how to balance between these elements, and understanding the needs of system elements and sub-systems.
• Defining requirements, use cases, system behavior, and proposed solutions.
• Identify and manage technical risks and opportunities, track progress, and make key project decisions, including final technical approvals.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure all system components work together effectively.
• Conducting technical negotiations with partners, suppliers and/or customers.

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years of work experience in systems engineering, team leadership, or a technical lead role.
• Strong understanding of software and hardware in complex systems.
• Higher education in engineering.
• Broad knowledge of technical development and integration of current and future technologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a team-oriented mindset.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Estonian citizenship is a mandatory requirement.
• Readiness to undergo a national security clearance process.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

What gives you an advantage:

• Knowledge of defense industry product development.
• Experience with EU projects.
• Experience with requirement management and process development.
• Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Previous experience with automotive and safety standards.
• Strong project management skills.
