Our R&D Department is looking for a Systems Engineer! Are you a highly skilled Systems engineer with a background in Complex Systems, ready to take on cutting-edge, multidisciplinary projects in an international environment?
We are looking for a dynamic expert with a problem-solving mindset, who embraces iterative and agile approaches to tackle engineering challenges. In this role, you will: cooperate with diverse teams, manage large-scale, long-duration projects, and work closely with stakeholders across the globe to deliver innovative solutions.
What you'll be doing:
Working with a team of engineers in developing state-of-the-art robotic vehicles throughout the entire product life cycle, including:
- Creating the skeleton of the system: determining which system elements and technologies to utilize, how to balance between these elements, and understanding the needs of system elements and sub-systems.
- Defining requirements, use cases, system behavior, and proposed solutions.
- Identify and manage technical risks and opportunities, track progress, and make key project decisions, including final technical approvals.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure all system components work together effectively.
- Conducting technical negotiations with partners, suppliers and/or customers.
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years of work experience in systems engineering, team leadership, or a technical lead role.
- Strong understanding of software and hardware in complex systems.
- Higher education in engineering.
- Broad knowledge of technical development and integration of current and future technologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a team-oriented mindset.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Estonian citizenship is a mandatory requirement.
- Readiness to undergo a national security clearance process.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
What gives you an advantage:
- Knowledge of defense industry product development.
- Experience with EU projects.
- Experience with requirement management and process development.
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Previous experience with automotive and safety standards.
- Strong project management skills.
