Lead Dotnet Developer

About The Role

FDM is a global technology consultancy partnering with leading organisations to deliver cutting-edge IT solutions. We are looking for an experienced Lead .NET Developer to join our client in the financial sector. This is initially a 12-month fixed term contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in Warsaw. This is an excellent opportunity to design and develop secure, high-performance applications that support key operations in a global, regulated environment.

As a Lead .NET Developer, you’ll be involved throughout the entire software development lifecycle - from gathering requirements and designing system architecture to implementation, testing and deployment. You’ll work with C#, React, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework and SQL Server to build scalable web applications and robust backend services. The role may also include API integrations and database performance optimisation, allowing you to enhance your technical expertise further.

Working within Agile teams and following CI/CD practices, you’ll collaborate closely with analysts, testers and other engineers to deliver solutions that meet business objectives. About You

What we expect:

• At least 10 years’ commercial experience in .NET development using C# and React
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework and SQL Server
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and web-based applications
• A solid understanding of OOP principles, software design patterns and reliability engineering
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g. Git)
