Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Kubernetes & AWS DevOps Engineer / Platform SRE Consultant with strong expertise in Kubernetes production operations, AWS cloud infrastructure, and platform reliability engineering. The candidate will be responsible for managing Kubernetes clusters, cloud infrastructure operations, automation, monitoring, security compliance, and CI/CD pipelines in enterprise environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with Rancher RKE2, Kubernetes lifecycle management, AWS services, Linux administration, infrastructure automation, GitOps practices, and incident management. The ideal candidate should also possess strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and observability expertise across cloud-native platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Kubernetes cluster operations including upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Handle Rancher RKE2 provisioning, lifecycle management, and operational support
• Administer AWS services including IAM, VPC, EC2, EKS, Route 53, Load Balancers, and CloudWatch
• Perform Linux system administration, networking, security hardening, and scripting automation
• Manage Kubernetes networking including TCP/IP, DNS, TLS certificates, ingress, routing, and firewalls
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response, and root-cause analysis processes
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Create architecture documentation, SOPs, onboarding guides, and operational runbooks
• Work with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
• Support GitOps delivery using Argo CD, Flux, Fleet, Helm, and Kustomize
• Implement security compliance tooling including image scanning, OPA Gatekeeper, Kyverno, and secrets management
• Apply SRE best practices including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and post-incident reviews
