We are looking for a Senior PHP Engineer to join one of our biggest clients, a leading international company operating in the automotive digital services sector, developing large-scale platforms used by millions of users across multiple markets.

What you will do:

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale PHP systems within a legacy monolithic architecture

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of system reliability, scalability, and security

• Implement and promote Continuous Delivery practices, including automated testing and deployments

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and cross-functional teams to deliver value

• Mentor other developers, promoting best practices in code quality, Clean Code, and system design

What you are like:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• At least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering

• Strong proficiency in PHP (mid/senior level), including experience with Laravel

• Experience working with legacy and monolithic architectures, including SOAP services and flat files

• Solid background in unit testing, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, and Clean Code principles

• Experience with MySQL (version 8) and AWS infrastructure

• Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) in backend-coupled environments is a plus

• Knowledge of the .NET ecosystem is considered a plus
