The Data Analyst will play a key role in managing and analyzing data within the SAP environment and start developing Power BI dashboards for advanced reporting and analytics. This position involves ensuring data integrity, building models, and delivering actionable insights to support business decisions.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by the company.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements for SAP and Power BI reporting.
  • Gather and document user requirements for data cleansing, transformation, and reporting.
  • Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Design and maintain data models in SAP to optimize storage, retrieval, and report performance.
  • Develop Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, including TRAC (Canadian Allocation Coding) mapping issues.
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis to support business objectives and improve data-driven decision-making.
  • Support testing activities to verify functionality and performance of data models and reporting tools.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on data management best practices.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).


EXPERIENCE:

  • 1–2 years as a Data Analyst (ERP experience preferred).
  • Familiarity with SAP and Power BI (experience is an asset).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP) and other MS Office tools.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Basic coding skills in SQL, Python, or similar languages for data manipulation and automation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
