Role Highlights:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
Build and optimize distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
Work with event streaming and messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ.
Design and maintain relational and NoSQL database solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Participate in system design, architecture reviews, and technical decision-making.
Monitor and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Data, and Software.

Unique Strengths You Bring to the Table:

7+ years of hands-on experience in backend software development.
BSc in Computer Science or a related engineering field (MSc is preferred).
Proficiency in strongly-typed programming languages such as Go, C# or Java.
Experience with distributed event streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka or similar event log systems.
Experience with message queue systems such as RabbitMQ.
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience with NoSQL databases and data structures such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
Solid understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and microservices.
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs or gRPC APIs.
Familiarity with containerized environments and cloud-native applications.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Strong ownership mindset with disciplined follow-up and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and clarity.
Passion for being a part of a fast-growing BaaS company.

Would Be Nice If You Have:

Experience with Apache Spark or similar big data processing solutions.
Experience with frontend frameworks such as React.
Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools.
Have knowledge of ISO 27001:2022 and act as required by these systems. (*)

(*): Vispera will provide relevant trainings, in case of a need if the personnel haven't got these trainings, after the recruitment within 3 months.
