The position

As a DevOps Engineer at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. Key Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer, you will help design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and secure, scalable operations. You will work closely with experienced engineers to accelerate the automation journey, leveraging tools like Terraform and Ansible to ensure environments are consistent, reliable, and easy to manage.

• Implement cloud infrastructure, including Azure Virtual Desktops (AVDs), using Terraform following modular and reusable patterns.
• Configure AVDs using Ansible based on user preferences and automated configuration standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of IaC standards and best practices.
• Automate configuration management and deployment tasks using Ansible to reduce manual intervention and improve repeatability.
• Support the adoption of automation-first principles across the DevOps environment.
• Participate in a weekly Operations Manager rotation acting as first responder for incidents and service requests.
• Support Azure-based resources, primarily Azure Virtual Desktops (AVDs).
• Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.

What you bring to the position

• Minimal 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Basic knowledge or strong interest in cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools, especially Terraform.
• Exposure to configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation principles.
• Scripting knowledge in PowerShell is considered a plus.
• Strong willingness to learn, collaborate, and contribute within a high-performing team.
• Microsoft Azure certification AZ-104 is considered an advantage
