GenAI Engineer

ABOUT AN OPEN POSITION:

Our client is an innovative software company developing advanced cloud-based solutions that help organizations optimize planning, operations, and decision-making processes. Working with modern technologies and scalable platforms, they deliver products used by businesses worldwide.

We are looking for a talented GenAI Engineer to join their motivated, international team on a 6-month fixed-term contract with a possibility of extension. You will build production-ready AI solutions and intelligent user experiences that empower users to leverage generative AI within complex business workflows.

YOU WILL:

Take full ownership of the end-to-end development process for GenAI features, from concept and architecture design to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Develop scalable AI-powered applications, integrating LLMs and conversational AI capabilities into enterprise workflows.
Design and implement backend API services, model integration pipelines, RAG systems, and agentic AI workflows.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, data scientists, and engineers to deliver AI solutions aligned with business goals and user needs.
Build conversational interfaces that simplify complex tasks through natural language interactions.
Implement evaluation frameworks and monitoring systems to measure and improve AI performance, including accuracy, latency, reliability, and user satisfaction.
Optimize model inference pipelines for scalability, cost-efficiency, and production performance.
Ensure high-quality software delivery through testing, code reviews, CI/CD practices, and engineering best practices.
Contribute to technical discussions, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and continuous innovation within the team.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in generative AI, LLMs, and machine learning technologies.
Support a collaborative and inclusive engineering culture where different perspectives and ideas are valued.

WHAT WE EXPECT YOU WILL BRING:

Strong programming skills in Python and hands-on experience with ML/AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Transformers.
Experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications in production environments.
Knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG systems, conversational AI, and GenAI application architecture.
Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, cloud infrastructure, and scalable backend systems.
Experience with containerization and deployment technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong foundation in machine learning fundamentals, including NLP, forecasting, recommendation systems, or time-series analysis.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to think strategically and deliver innovative AI-driven solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.

NICE TO HAVE:

Experience with GenAI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Haystack.
Knowledge of vector databases and embedding models (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, etc.).
Experience with model serving and observability tools such as vLLM, Ray, MLflow, LangSmith, or Weights & Biases.
Background in forecasting, analytics, or enterprise software solutions.
Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks for AI products.
Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or research publications.

For this role, we offer a NETO (after taxes) salary range of 2800 - 3800 EUR/month. The final salary agreement is based on skills and experience.
