Scrum Master

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams and drive successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, promote Agile best practices, and ensure smooth collaboration between business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Grooming.

Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and continuous improvement practices.

Work closely with Product Owners to ensure a prioritized and well-refined backlog.

Remove blockers and proactively manage dependencies and risks impacting delivery timelines.

Track sprint progress, velocity, burn-down charts, and Agile metrics using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams including Development, QA, Product, and Operations.

Support release planning, sprint execution, and delivery management activities.

Ensure transparency in project status, risks, and dependencies with stakeholders.

Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and high performance within teams.

Drive adoption of Agile best practices and process improvements across teams.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field.

Proven experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile/Scrum environments.

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and SDLC.

Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.

Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with distributed teams.

Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM, SAFe, or equivalent.

Experience working in Scaled Agile environments.

Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and release management processes.

Technical background in Development, QA, or Business Analysis is a plus.

Nice to Have

Experience handling enterprise-scale Agile transformations.

Knowledge of reporting dashboards and Agile performance metrics.

Experience working with cross-functional and globally distributed teams.
