About The Role

Jobot is seeking a talented and motivated attorney to join its dynamic litigation team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to handle complex commercial litigation and government investigation matters, providing substantial responsibility and visibility from early stages. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with seasoned trial lawyers, contributing to case strategy, drafting motions, managing discovery, and engaging directly with clients on high-stakes, bet-the-company disputes. The role is designed for attorneys with 1-6 years of experience, ideally with a federal clerkship and/or experience as an Assistant U.S. Attorney. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • 1-6 years of experience at a leading New York law firm or equivalent legal environment.
  • At least one federal clerkship and/or experience as an Assistant U.S. Attorney is required.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of legal activities, including:

  • Handling complex commercial litigation and government investigation matters in both state and federal courts.
  • Drafting and filing motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Managing discovery processes, including document review, depositions, and interrogatories.
  • Developing and implementing case strategies in collaboration with senior partners.
  • Engaging directly with clients to understand their needs, provide updates, and advise on case developments.
  • Participating in negotiations and settlement discussions when appropriate.
  • Contributing to the overall team effort by sharing insights, mentoring junior staff, and supporting firm initiatives.
