Network Engineer

JOB Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee LAN/WAN network operations by leveraging advanced knowledge of routing, switching, and network monitoring tools such as Cisco IOS, Juniper Junos, ensuring high availability and optimal performance
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex network incidents using packet analyzers like Wireshark and network management platforms to minimize downtime and service impact
• Implement and optimize network policies and security protocols utilizing firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto) and network access controls to safeguard data integrity and compliance
• Drive process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives in network operations through automation tools such as Ansible and Python scripting, enhancing operational efficiency and reporting accuracy
• Mentor and empower network support teams by sharing expert knowledge in LAN/WAN technologies, ensuring skill development, transparent communication, and alignment with project goals
• Engage with clients to understand evolving network requirements, translating business needs into actionable network solutions while ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs and service quality benchmarks
• Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, operational reports, and performance dashboards to support strategic decision-making and organizational planning

Mandatory skills:

• Advanced Expertise in Cisco and Juniper Network Devices and Protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANS)
• Excellent Command of Network Monitoring and Management Tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, SNMP)
• Advanced Knowledge of Network Security Principles, Including Firewall Configuration and VPN Technologies
• Strong Skills in Process Optimization, Automation (Python, Ansible), And Network Documentate

Additional mandatory requirements

• Should be ready to work in PST hours. No exception please.
• Should be ready to work in rotational shifts (not necessary Sat/Sun are week offs)
