Ninja Gaming is a fast-growing software development company based in Dubai, focused on building scalable and high-impact digital solutions across multiple industries. We’re looking for a highly experienced and motivated Senior Backend Developer to join our development team.
What You’ll Do:
Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems.
Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams.
Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Participate in architectural decisions and planning.
Requirements:
Proven expertise in Laravel framework (minimum 4 years), including experience with RESTful APIs, Eloquent ORM, middleware, queues, events, and service containers.
5+ years of hands-on backend development experience.
Expert-level knowledge in at least one backend language/framework (e.g., Laravel, Node.js, Django, Go, Java/Spring Boot).
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Knowledge of caching, message queues (e.g., Redis, RabbitMQ), and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have:
Experience leading a backend team or mentoring junior developers.
Understanding of DevOps practices.
Contributions to open-source projects.
