Senior Full‑Stack Developer – Payments & Financial Integrations

Oslo (Hybrid)

We’re looking for a Senior Full‑Stack Developer to take ownership of core services within a large, widely used financial platform in Norway. The product supports tens of thousands of businesses across the country and includes functionality such as accounting, payroll, payments, reporting and integrations with banks and third‑party systems.

This role sits in the Finance domain and focuses on building and maintaining the services that handle payment flows, banking integrations and financial transactions.

This is a position for someone who enjoys autonomy, complex systems, and meaningful engineering work - not someone who needs constant follow‑up.

What you’ll work on

• Develop and maintain payment flows for payroll, travel and expense payouts, invoices, deposits and recurring payments
• Build and own banking integrations, including APIs, transaction handling and reconciliation
• Work with REST and GraphQL integrations across internal and external systems
• Contribute to architecture and technical decisions within the Finance domain
• Reduce dependencies between teams by improving shared services
• Collaborate with Payroll and Reporting teams on cross‑functional features
• Use GenAI tools (Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to increase speed and quality
• Participate in a structured development process using Scrum or Kanban

What you bring

• 5+ years’ experience as a full‑stack developer
• Strong experience with Angular and backend development (preferably .NET, but other backend languages are welcome)
• Solid understanding of integrations, distributed systems and API‑driven architecture
• Experience with payment flows, bank APIs or fintech
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of services
• Fluent in Norwegian and English
• Experience using GenAI tools in daily development

Nice‑to‑haves:

• Knowledge of payroll, ERP or accounting systems
• Experience with card payments, Mastercard integrations or Open Banking / PSD2
• Familiarity with financial compliance and secure transaction handling
