IGA Istanbul Airport, the largest infrastructure project in the history of the Republic of Turkiye, began operations on October 29, 2018. Turkiye’s gateway to the world, the airport continues its operations as a significant global hub, connecting the Asian, African, and European continents. Built on an area of 76.5 million square meters, the airport has a terminal serving 90 million passengers, with a planned total capacity of 200 million.

Your Journey Begins With a Unique Role ✈️

• Plan and execute all corporate communication activities for iGA Istanbul Airport,
• Determine integrated communication strategies, prepare strategic recommendations, develop project proposals that will contribute to business goals and measure their results,
• Create communication plans for different target audiences to increase brand awareness and preference of IGA Istanbul Airport,
• Manage crisis communication processes and develop communication plans for operational disruptions, and reputational risks,
• Execute the planning, coordination, approval and budgeting processes for communication materials, including production planning, delivery dates and time management,
• Monitor and analyse daily press news, monitor the agenda and identify communication opportunities,
• Ensure that relationships with agencies, stakeholders and the media are effectively managed in line with brand and business communication objectives; implement agencies’ business plans and monitor daily work routines,
• Collaborate closely with operations, commercial, security and guest experience teams to ensure effective communication processes,
• Monitor developments in the national and international aviation industry and identify communication opportunities,

• Bachelor's Degree from related fields,
• 7+ years of experience in the relevant field,
• Experience in global media communications and agency relations, preferably in aviation, transportation, tourism or service industries,
• Experience in preparing speech texts, bulletins, presentations and related preliminary documents within the scope of leadership communication,
• Proficiency in corporate language and full utilization in all business processes,
• Great command of English,
• Willing to engage in communication and sharing among colleagues,
• Strong experience in crisis communication and reputation management,
• Strong coordination and project management skills in multi-stakeholder environments with a results-oriented mindset.
