Senior Product Manager – Work Management Tools


Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Product Manager – Work Management Tools to lead the vision, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise PMO portfolio, program, and project management tools. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and user experience, ensuring products are aligned with organizational goals and deliver measurable business value.


The ideal candidate will act as the voice of both the customer and the business, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders and technology teams to identify opportunities, prioritize investments, and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. The role requires balancing short-term execution with long-term product strategy while driving continuous improvement in agile delivery practices.


Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for PMO portfolio, program, and project management tools.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize business value, improve customer satisfaction, reduce delivery costs, and minimize operational risks.
  • Align product initiatives with enterprise objectives, business priorities, and global/regional strategies.

Agile Product Delivery

  • Lead and support agile product teams to ensure delivery aligns with business expectations and requirements.
  • Drive sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog prioritization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all user stories meet the Definition of Ready before entering sprints and Definition of Done before release demonstrations.
  • Collaborate closely with development, QA, architecture, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Product Ownership & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for work management and PMO tools.
  • Communicate product value, capabilities, and business benefits to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Support the broader product line strategy by contributing to roadmap planning and prioritization.
  • Identify new opportunities to enhance product capabilities and improve business outcomes.
  • Serve as the voice of the product team to leadership, advocating for process improvements and team success.

Solution Design & Governance

  • Contribute to solution design and product architecture decisions.
  • Ensure products are scalable, compliant, and aligned with enterprise technology standards.
  • Support governance, reporting, and financial management processes related to project and portfolio management.

Continuous Learning & Innovation

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices within product management and work management tools.
  • Promote innovation and continuous improvement across product delivery processes.


Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.


Experience

  • 10+ years of IT experience with significant exposure to product development and support.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise technology products in an Agile software development environment.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar agile/project management platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to define product strategies and execute roadmaps successfully.
  • Strong understanding of portfolio, program, and project management processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Understanding of project financial management principles.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in large enterprise or global environments.
  • Exposure to PMO transformation initiatives and enterprise work management platforms.
  • Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or similar.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation and process optimization initiatives.
