Project Manager

Work Location : Changi Business Park

Working Hours : Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 5.30pm

Type of Employment : 1 year contract (renewable)

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and tracking activities to ensure the successful execution of projects. He/She identifies and resolves project issues to maintain schedules utilizing established processes and procedures, while also recommending measures to prevent recurrence. This position coordinates deployments and implementations, facilitating activities to ensure programs and projects are implemented successfully and meet established deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities

Project Management

• Conducts systems and requirements analysis to identify project action items.
• Creates task lists and cost and time estimates to support project plan development.
• Performs assigned functions and tasks to meet project plan and quality review requirements.
• Records, updates, monitors, and determines solutions for project deviations to ensure effective resolutions.
• Reviews project team accomplishments to assist with peer development and to provide project updates for management and clients.
• Reviews and compiles project issues to support effective resolutions.
• Monitors project activities to ensure compliance with governance, standards, and policies.

Resolves and Documents Project Specific Issues

• Ensures issues and requests are handled effectively to conform to procedures.
• Reviews issues' documentation to verify utilization of appropriate forms.
• Analyzes problems to initiate corrective actions and resolve project issues effectively.

Supports and Maintains Stakeholder Relationships

• Interacts with stakeholders to clarify project and business needs.
• Facilitates collaboration among stakeholders to achieve project goals and objectives.
• Maintains relationships among stakeholders and technical groups.
• Prepares reports to provide timely stakeholder updates.

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Project Management or related field of study.
• 3-4 years of experience in project management.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.
• Knowledge in logistics system is a plus.
• Ability to follow project directions and perform time bound tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Detail-oriented and problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent communication skills.
