Junior Developer

At VASS, we are currently experiencing significant growth both nationally and internationally.

At the moment, we are expanding our Salesforce team to support a large-scale digital transformation programme based in Rome, Italy.

For this opportunity, we are looking for a Junior Salesforce Administrator & Developer with between 1 - 3 years of hands-on experience supporting Salesforce environments in administration and minor development tasks.

Ideal profile:

• Proactive and autonomous person, comfortable working on-site within a structured institutional environment.
• Experience administering and maintaining Salesforce orgs, including user management, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings.
• Ability to develop and configure minor enhancements using declarative tools such as Flows, Process Builder, and validation rules.
• Support experience in sandbox management, deployments, and release activities.
• Experience monitoring system performance, data quality, and platform health.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve incidents, bugs, and user-reported issues in existing Salesforce applications.
• Experience coordinating with implementation teams to avoid technical debt, regression issues, and duplication of work.
• Documentation skills, ensuring proper tracking of configurations, changes, and support activities.
• Familiarity with core Salesforce features including data model, security model, automation tools, and reporting.
• Basic knowledge of Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC) will be highly valued.
• Experience with Experience Cloud and mobile app configuration is a plus.
• Education Cloud experience is a plus.
• Salesforce Administrator certification is mandatory.
• Platform Developer I certification is a strong plus.
• Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory.
• Spanish and/or Italian language skills will be valued.
