Project Manager

Day to Day

The main function of a project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc.. or any other non-IT based project. We are looking for someone who has strong organization and project management skills to join a large data center in the Quebec region. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating projects, making detailed plans of technical data center work, and providing status updates to leaders. Soft skills such as organization, initiative and communication is the most important requirements for this role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.

• Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.

• May recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.

• Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

• 100% on site

Top 3-5 Must-haves:

• 2+ years of experience in a project manager/project coordination role in a Data Center capacity or related field (NOC, machine room, computing center, IT Center, Data Hub etc)

• Experience coordinating, assigning, directing, and evaluating employee work

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.

• PMI or PMP certification preferred
