Educational Qualification

B.Tech / B.E Graduate degree in ME, EE, ECE, E&I

MBA/PMP/Six Sigma Preferred

Role Objective

Provide technical and strategic leadership for product design activities, ensuring accurate translation of product requirements into robust designs and compliant, cost-effective Bills of Materials (BOM) across the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own and govern end-to-end product design strategy aligned with customer and business requirements
2. Translate complex product requirements into scalable, manufacturable design architectures
3. Lead creation, validation, and lifecycle management of multi-level BOMs
4. Drive DFM, DFA, and cost-optimization initiatives
5. Mentor and guide product design teams
6. Act as technical escalation point for critical design issues

Technical Skills

1. Expertise in product design and engineering fundamentals
2. Strong experience in product requirements management
3. Advanced knowledge of BOM structures and lifecycle control
4. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes

Tool Skills

1. CAD tools – SolidWorks / Creo / CATIA
2. PLM systems for BOM and design governance
3. ERP/MRP systems
4. Advanced MS Excel

Soft Skills

1. Strong technical leadership
2. Excellent communication skills
3. Strategic thinking with execution focus
