Position

We are looking for a Tech Engineering Manager who can build and scale AI-powered systems. This role sits at the intersection of:

• Backend systems
• Data pipelines
• AI/LLM integrations
• Internal tools

You will inherit nothing, own everything - improve what's there, build what's missing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, with exposure to fullstack development
• Strong experience with Python, Go, Node.js or similar
• Experience building production-grade APIs and systems
• Hands-on experience with modern AI/LLM systems, such as model integrations, prompt workflows, evaluations, agents, or AI-assisted automation
• Experience with data workflows, pipelines, or analytics systems
• Strong product thinking and ability to turn ambiguous requirements into practical technical solutions

Main Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered internal tools and backend systems
• Own APIs, services, data workflows, and integrations
• Work closely with product and growth teams to translate ideas into working systems.
• Build data pipelines and systems that extract signal from user behavior
• Integrate LLMs, automation flows, and AI-based logic into backend services
• Contribute to dashboards, analytics, and decision-making tools
• Take projects from ambiguity to production
• Write code. Ship fast. Improve continuously.

This is a builder role, not a coordination role.

Nice to Have

• Experience building AI agents, workflow automation tools, or LLM-based internal platforms
• Frontend experience with React, Next.js, or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, containers, CI/CD, observability, testing, and production deployment practices
• Familiarity with mobile app growth concepts
• Experience leading a small engineering team in a startup or high-growth product environment
